The way actual AI processes are built means they not only handle the unknown, they account for unknown things or conditions and find working labels for such things.
This strongly mimics a natural behavior that we humans express. We quickly judge and label things which are unknown to us using terms we know. This is a process of appropriation which is biologically driven by our brains.
